In my last post you got to know a little bit about Walt Elis Disney. After Walt’s death many conspiracies came up, including theories that he was frozen to hopefully come back one day. Let’s figure out if this was true or not.

Now to learn the truth. We must consider any medical issues he had at the time that could have affected his health. Walt was diagnosed with lung cancer in 1966, the very year that he died. It was December 17th of ’66 that he was cremated and interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California.
While he left a legacy for the ages, a rumor started that his body is suspended in a frozen state and buried deep beneath the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland in Anaheim, California, waiting for the day when medical science would be advanced enough to bring the great animator back. His stories will live on forever, he unfortunately will not. The rumors were fueled by Disney fans that struggled to accept his death as well as deeply admired his fascination with the future.
Disney had a passion of no other. He knew what he wanted out of life and although he had struggled for it for years as he was establishing his company, he was able to accomplish all he wanted and more. Walt was able to achieve the making of something bigger than he ever thought possible. Now we are left to wonder if he would be proud of what the Walt Disney Company is today. Would he be pleased with how it has flourished? Or would he be disgusted of it’s now corporate control. Let me know in the comments what you think Walt would say about his company today! And come back next week for more as we explore what the Walt Disney Company has become today!
